Build practical skill. Create your next opportunity.
This combined language diploma supports learners who want to communicate across more than one language community. English develops sentence structure, listening, spoken interaction and short writing. Sinhala builds familiarity with sounds, script, everyday vocabulary and the expressions needed for respectful interaction.
Role-plays place both languages in recognisable situations such as giving an introduction, handling a service enquiry or discussing a timetable. Learners compare how a message can be expressed naturally in each language, practise pronunciation and keep a record of useful phrases. The aim is steady practical progress rather than translating every sentence word for word.
